Where this data comes from
Read from the developer's own files. Nothing decrypted, nothing scraped.
What we read
The Soulmask dedicated-server package, which CampFire Studio publishes free and downloadable without an account (Steam app 3017300, build 25117130). Two files inside it are readable:
WS/Config/GameplaySettings/— 137 plaintext JSON files holding every server setting, its range in each mode and slot, and 132 official server templates.WS/Binaries/Linux/WSServer-Linux-Shipping— the server executable, whose symbol table names every system the game models.
What we do not read, and will not
The game archive WS-LinuxServer.pak is encrypted (bEncryptedIndex True). We do not hold the key, have not sought it, and do not decrypt anything. That is why this site has no item database, no recipe list and no creature stats — that data is not readable without circumventing the encryption, and we will not do that.
We also do not copy from other Soulmask sites or wikis.
About the English
The game ships these settings and system names in Simplified Chinese and romanised pinyin only. Every English label and description on this site is our own translation, shown alongside the developer’s original wherever we have it. Where the original is terse enough that the exact sense is a judgement call, the page says so.
Freshness
Soulmask patches roughly weekly, and the dedicated-server package updates with it. Every page states the build its numbers came from. Re-running the extractor against a new build regenerates the whole site; nothing here is hand-maintained.
